    Made it out to a south metro lake yesterday, the bite was so-so, seems to be right on the edge of the late ice bonanza. We found our fish over very mucky bottom in about 25 feet of water, any deeper or shallow you didn’t mark much. Most fish came on a diamond jig with some spikes, although some of the bigger crappies came on a diamond jig with Gulp! Alive 1 inch fish fry.

    I did notice most of the fish were right on the very defined hard to soft bottom line, one hole your vex bottom line would be 1.5 inches of red-line 10 feet away it was a quarter inch of red-line. Just little details you need to pay attention to with your electronics that make all the difference.
