Any action on West/East Rush?

Hey guys,

I’m thinking of heading up to West or East Rush on Sat. for some Crappie action, and was looking for a little help..

Not looking for specifics, just a general area of where I can start to look for some consistent Crappie action.

last year, i had the best luck straight out from the landing on west rush. theres a 40′ hole about 300 yards out. sit up on the edge of that guy… it comes up at high as 10′ near that island. lots of good pike action in that area too, theyll hit your crappie minnows. key for me was to stay out of the main shack village in that hole.

i havent had a chance to get out there this year yet. let me know if you have any luck and how the ice is doing.
