Was out on my early Crappie lake Monday and with only 2 or so inches of ice, thought I’d wait acouple days before going out. Then the temps droped and the snow came, I was not sure what to think. What was going to happen to the ice? but I found out last night. 6″ of ice and someone pulling a perm out on a 4 wheeler. What a workout pulling my new Wild Outdoors house loaded with my auger,a 20 pounder,a sandwich and a Dew.

As you can see, this is what happened. The bite was light and had to work for them. But after talking to some guys at the landing, I far out fished them all.

Right on, gotta have a crappie lake or two that one can rely on. Being able to use a wheeler makes it effortless, coolest thing since sliced bread.
