I have it from a good source that the walleyes have been fairly active on Indy the last couple nights. I know myself and at least 4 others will be out Thur. Anyone that wants to tag along, feel free. We will be meeting at the access on the east side of the lake at 2:30.

I may just join you guys Mike. It all depends on how work goes tonight. Will you be pulling the Otter with a 4 wheeler or just walking??

I’m going to let the ice conditions decide that. I’ll have it with.

Well, just like the rest of the week, work has been down right miserable. I’m hoping to get my first trip this weekend if I don’t make it to the river…….

The wife and I went out Tue. We ran into 4 others we knew, but the fishing was slow. The main problem was noise. There were people drilling holes right up until dark. The first eye didn’t come til 6:30.

How deep were you getting those ‘eyes Mike? I had pretty decent luck out there last year. The best luck I had was staying WAY away from the crowds.

Usually I like 18-24′ but this year it seems like 28-30′ has been better. There has also been quite a few crappies showing up as well after dark within 2′ of the bottom.
