Well what a difference 24 hours makes hit the lake today around noon and the crappies were stacked 4 feet off the bottom 7 feet thick,
I tried the buckshot and no takers 
so then i tried everything else I had with, I finally ended up with 5 nice gills and 3 crappies and one nice pike around 8 – 10 pounds that crushed a small frosty and wax worm, never got a weight or length on it before she went back 
did get a pic on the cell phone
One other thing the Ice went from 8″ on Monday to 12″ today 
I guess that answers the question someone asked the other day on how much ice we gain in 24 hours with these temps.
I’m still not driving on the lake because I did hear that someone put the front of their truck through the Ice at Black Lake on Tonka Tuesday
