Recent Tonka Eyes ???

    Been about 3 weeks since Ive been to Tonka, we were catching them in 17-24 fow with jig and minnow….

    Any word on recent bites ??? Has the Rogue or Hjerk bite picked up in the eve yet ???

    Will be heading out there sometime this week…

    I’m thinking Wed or Thursday for myself. I might try the ski’s early, then to the eyes after dark. I guess with the time change, maybe right to the eyes. I’ll be trying the HJ’s and rogues first.

    I talked to a buddy that was bass fishing, but got into the ‘eyes. He was thowing cranks on a rocky point on the west side. I don’t have the exact spot, but its worth checking out.

    Mike,

    Since I’m not a bass fisherman, would it be safe to assume he was casting a deep diving crank, something like a DT or along that line?? Do you bass guys throw HJ’s and Rogues this time of year???

    He was throwing a Bomber A in 3-6′.
