I threw my back out last weekend and have not been able to get out on the water all week. I will be going out there this weekend and have a couple of tournaments comming up soon. How has the fishing been and any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I would say it is on the slow side. Probably varies day to day some but for the most part they are not going gangbusters. I fished the Dennys Super 30 yesterday and about 1/3 of the field didn’t even bother weighing in.

Seemed as the good spots were still good but would only put out 1 or 2 fish instead of fish after fish.

We have been catching fish almost everywhere we go and on most everything we throw, but they are all small around 1-2lbs. It is pretty hard to find the big ones right now, we lost 4 big ones that would have been nice to get into the boat. A lot of smaller fish are starting to move into the shallowes right now. We were watching them bust baitfish all over in certain bays.

That pretty well sums it up. Water temps mid 60s so the big bite has to be coming soon.
