White Bear Lake – Fishing Report

    I spent all day on White Bear Lake today hunting for smallmouth. Had a hard time finding QUALITY fish….so defaulted to a fun pattern that yielded several small fish. 5 Pike (no real size) and 3 or 4 largemouths. Spinnerbaits we’re most productive in 6 FOW. Water temps 64 degrees average.

    Busy, Busy lake ! Sunday sailboat races. Sheriff out making checks & flagging people down.

    The north launch is evil at White Bear Lake. Sand bottom & constantly changing. Somebodys boat fell off the trailer while trying to launch.

    Might head out to Chisago soon. Catch and release lake. Hoping to whack some crainbaits off a stump or 2. Anyone want to join me ? Maybe next 10 days or so.
