I was on tonka this morning, spoted alot of fish, snaller ones on beds yet, but tight lipped, talked to one guy at the landing, slow rolling white spinners, he said he boated about 30 fish I guess. that is what he told me. I boated 1 fish today with a black/blue jig and a power craw. heading back down there in the morning, I guess I can’t do any worse than I did today, going to do some scouting for new spots, hopefully the wind will die down and make it a little easier on the body and the boat.

    wish you luck,

i was on Tonka all day Sun and 7-15:30 today. we were hit an miss everywhere. we did manage to catch some today toward the end that were decent 2.5-3 lb range. Overall, both days (2 guys w/30+ man hours total) 30-35 fish and our best 8 would have gone 16-17 lbs. Sure hope the ladies show up next Sat for the Classic or it could make for a long day. Quick question? Is there anywhere online where a guy can see the results of the Denney on Tues or Weds? We are really curious to see how people do and if things are going to heat up. thanks in advance

I don’t have names, but 26lbs on 8 fish won, 22 cashed. Big fish 4lb 15oz to Wilcox/Gilmer and 2nd big bass to Johnson/Sivula (both team Outkast)

    Mike,

Do you know how many boats fished? 22# to cash – thats tough unless the stable(r) weather has ’em snapping a little better.
