I just pulled 20-25 crawlers from the lawn in 3 minutes flat! Walked out and the auto light pops on and all I see is snakes.

This is definatley the earilest I have ever pulled crawlers from the yard. It’s officially spring.

that is always fun, me and a buddy use to do that all the time, it is a blast because those things are pretty tricky and quick.

It is alot like fishing when you are out pulling crawlers. As a kid I spent hours a week watering the grass to pull crawlers. They are fun to catch and as Cade said they are free..

Those buggers are thick in the cities. We dont have them up hear in Ham Lake. To much sand. There are a few landings where you can find them but its not like just heading out in the back yard picking. In N. MPLS we used to put a hose out in the back yard on a bright hot sunny day and still have them up with in 15 minutes.

Yep, I did a lot of flooding growing up in SW Mpls. I still get out the hose once in a while. Lot’s of crawlers around here.

I used to love doing my Sunday morning paper route after a good Saturday night rain. I would grab a couple of ice cream buckets and fill them up with crawlers just laying on the streets and sidewalks. Dad would give me a ride to the bait store and I would walk out with a nice roll of bills, or a bunch of new fishing gear!

When they are stuck together they are doing the wild thing! Gross golf course is where I go. Where I live there are mainly worms after a good rain. I haven’t seen any yet in Centerville.

You are marring the family name with your perverted posts! Give the crawlers some privacy you sicko.

When i lived with an X, her son used to blast a hole in the ground with the water hose and let is sit for 15 minutes. He’d then go harvest a bunch for my trip, even in broad daylight. It didn’t hurt with lived downhill from a golf course. I really miss her……..son.
