Whats up METRO? NEone checkin ice? 18deg 2morrow

    Hows the ice out on the west metro? Tonka? Indy? Prior? Waconia? I hope it’s building up fast. Anyone check lately? Hope 18degree’s tomorrow start the works “turbo” the ice up a little.

    Gotta check the ice forum, minnesota tab, there are some posts, personally I haven’t been out, Saturday looks to be a day on the ice though, not sure where I’m headed yet.

    I’ll be out this afternoon but earlier in the week on the west end we had about 6 to 10 inches. Area around Big Island was still open water last night but skimmed this AM so be careful if headed there.

    10 inches of ice on fish lake tonight 8 being good ice, the bite was terrible.

    I’ve fished that lake a few times this ice season already. Gosh havn’t been having any luck either. Did ok by where the guys were all spearing, crappies were hitting a genz bug tipped w/ crappie minnow. Lotta small perches also. Let me know you have been doing out on that lake also.
