I’ve seen a few people fishing in the evenings. Does anyone know how the ice is doing, or how the fish are biting? I live just east of the lake and would like to get out there in the evenings. I’d check it out myself, but the only time I have is in the evenings, by myself, and that might not be the best scenario with this screwed up winter.

I’ve never been on it, but isn’t there a bunch of springs out from the access?
I’m not sure about the springs. There was at least two people fishing 100 yds from the access last night. Maybe I’ll venture down there tonight and see what they have to say.
They might be fishing tip ups. The south end of that lake is pretty shallow around 5′.
Drove by last night about 6, and there were 4-5 trucks at the access, but I couldn’t see any lights on the lake. They may have been fishing on the NE part of the lake in the deep hole. I’ve heard there’s walleyes up there. Because there is no snow, I couldn’t see any tracks. I decided against walking to the other side of the lake. I’ll have to take an afternoon off sometime and check it out in the daylight.
