Minnetonka Opened today

    Was out around the lake on Wednesday and it was ice as far as the eye could see from shoreline drive. Today open water a couple hundred yards off shoreline all the way to big island. Saw a couple guys fishing only a few hundred yards from the waves.

    Yikes!! I have yet to gish on the ice around the metro this year. Hurts on the guiding, but I feel a lot safer up north.

    That has not yet frozen over all year. I have seen a few people out there fishing out from the Arcola bridge not far from the open water with their portables. Not smart.
