    Fished the west side of Wayzata bay this afternoon/evening. Pretty darn slow, but a 23″ Eye at dark made my trip a very happy one.

    It is pretty amazing to see an eye swallow an 8″ sucker (i was targeting pike).

    Ice is at 8″. Wayzata bait had indicated its been pretty slow the last few days.

    I haven’t heard many good reports off Tonka. Usually there is a decent pike bite in North Arm, but never materialized.
