I headed out after work with a co-worker to see if we could find any Muskies on Bald Eagle. Chad has had good success there in the past though he’s had a slow season so far this year. I’ve never fished for muskies in a hurricane before so it was an interesting new experience
We covered a lot of water with a variety of presentations without any luck. It was impossible to stay anywhere near the mid-lake humps due to the 30 mph wind gusts so we ended up running along the break 0n the south shore. Chad finally connected with this nice 36 inch fish that hit his Bulldog right at the side of the boat. He had one more big swirl and that was it for the night.
My thanks to Chad for sharing the boat with me and we’ll have to do this again soon.
