Me & Gocatfish got out on Byllesby this morning & did pretty good trolling cranks between 4-15 fow, #5 shad raps work the best in the red craw color. We ended up with four nice eyes, there would have 5 but Tony (Gocatfish) thought he was catching a catfish & tried to muscle it to the boat. The eye’s where 21″, 20″, 19″ & a 17″. Tony also boated real nice northern & I caught a channel cat trolling.

    Nice Catch

I haven’t been able to get out there much this year, went out there in the spring had some decent luck, but my main objective was to get some good waypoints for this winter

    sssssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!

THERE are NO walleyes in Byllesby!!!

For those that forgot, the DNR stocked the resevoir a few years back and the lake is starting to do quite well. There are nice smallies to be found too, as well as plenty of channel cats and crappies!

Haven’t been down there in a couple of weeks. How is the algae bloom? Is the lake still quite green? And what are water temps?

Gary the water temp is down to 66, the alge bloom isn’t as bad as it was back on labor day. Also I forgot to add on my report that we ended up catching a goose for a goose hunter that was chasing one that he winged. He had no net & he was spinning around & around in the area we had are best luck early in the morning. but after that we caught nothing in that area.
