Minnewashta Access?

    I’ve heard there are some nice bass in this lake, but there’s a restriction on size motor if you launch at the state park access. Can a person get on this lake with a big motor somewhere other than the state park access?

    There are two public access launches within the park – one has a restriction on motor size and you don’t want to use it anyway. It’s mostly for canoes etc. The other launch has no restrictions, a pier and some nice trailer parking. And yes there are a lot of nice bass in the lake.

    The 2nd access you drive by is the 1 to use. There are some nice fish out there and you can get them from 1′ to 16′ and over. I would bet the deep weed edges would be the ticket.
