this post is dominated by the 3 of you so i figured i would just post something to add some variety to your bantering back and forth. if anyone needs a net man this week, let me know…haven’t chased muskies exclusively yet this year and am getting a little anxious.

I will let you know the next time I’m heading out. I’m quite often looking for someone to hit the local lakes with me. I need to get on Indy or Waconia to see if the big girls are going there.

Muskies were moving around last night. Had 3 follow to the boat and saw more “finning” on the surface. Assume they were picking off sunnies. But no takers. Pike and bass are on a tear but the muskies just won’t hit anything. Forgot my go to top water and that might have made a difference but I think there is just so much forage right now it’s going to be tough to get a muskies to whack anything.

We’ve been moving some very nice fish on Indy lately and have talked to other boats who are doing the same.

Nicer fish have been deeper than normal on Indy, and have come on topwater, gliders and have heard reports that Dawgs have taken a few fish as well.

The big girl put in two apperances last night but just lazy follows. Thinking it’s time for topwaters or a 9″ swim bait. Bass continue to be on fire. They have no hesitation in hitting my musky lures even the 12″ variety.

Yeah sorry Gary..I haven’t gotten around to sending out the pic. I’ve been fishing, fish are snapping up north.

Lots of big fish being caught

Metro is slow if you don’t fish the right times. Though the big one came at 2pm on a HOT blue bird day. A couple mid forties that week also during the midday.

I might need a net man some night, I’ll let you know but you’ll have to be sworn into a death cult that will need to know you entire family tree so that if you talk we can track you down.

Or I’ll swap you for a river trip for some wader Muskies That sounds like a blast.
