Good action last night on Crystal Lake for large mouth bass. Since my wife works evenings I had two helpers in the boat. Cooper 6 and Emma 3 – while they didn’t fish much, they had fun playing in the live well and eating every bite of food we had in the cooler.
Bass were active along the weedlines from 2-8 FOW. Smallest landed was around 2.5 lbs with 7 total fish caught in about 2 1/2 hours of fishing. Mid-lake structure also produced fish in deeper water, 4 lb class fish as the nicest.
Most fish were caught on plastics, tubes were the biggest producer for me last night.
