Jack, The crappie action has slowed a bit. Water temps were 52 degrees on the north side and 55 degrees on the south as of this weekend. Was out this weekend and never caught a walleye. Talked to the DNR and they said out of everyone they checked, nobody seen a walleye either. I heard of one guy that was out at midnite who SAID he caught 3 but you know how reliable that is. Its just a story. I fish this lake about 5 times a week and this opener will go down as one of the worst, if not the worst that I can remember. It sucked !!!

Jack- I threw on the waders and casted until dark Sunday night with nothing to show for it.

Apparently Im not to be trusted. Were you one of the herd of boats coming off the rock dock around 2am? I told someone at the access I caught three. I popped an 17, a 20 and a bonus 27 pulling cranks. I dipped out again later on Saturday after a nap and blanked.
