Fishied with Drews Dad and my boy… fished from about 5:00 to twilight… a back bay in tonka… water temps in lake 51.7 temps in back 56 or so…

Still not a great plastic bite going on (but then again the front had just passed)… they seemed to want very livley minnows tail hooked under bobber but without “jigging” the bait… 2′ down in 3-4 fow, at dusk they came up to the surface.

Brought home 24 keepers with the biggest at 13″ and some nice gills.

Thanks again WGFA for taking me with. The action wasn’t fast; but it was fairly steady. Should do nothing but improve over the next day or so (until the next cold front).
Glad you didn’t listen to me and skip the minnows.

Yea, and there was no apparent location pattern except for just meandering around… the tradiditional spot on the spots were no better than any random cast…

Thanks for the update. A couple buddies said they had good luck in 10-12′ and thought they had pulled out from where they had been.

Found same last night… they were in the shallows last week but when it got nice out… they seem to have vacated the 2-3 fow areas…
