West Metro Ice-Out

    The past 2 years I have been out (in a boat) on a small NW metro lake taking advantage of the crappies on April 1st., stopped by the landing today and unless we get one heck of a heatwave it ain’t gonna happen this year! Noticed something else while I was out there….there’s a few slobs that don’t like to take their garbage home with em! C’mon guys, clean up after yourselves

    There is a solid 15-20 inches of ice still on Tonka. I was out last night until about 11pm and did pretty well with the crappies. They know spring is coming!!

    Pray for warm weather and rain! I believe average ice out on Tonka is 4-13. Got a feeling it may be a little later this year.
