It’s dang cold out there, I don’t ice fish, just learned how to post pics, so I guess this post was inevitable. 
This fish was from Lake Harriet. The thing is I was lucky enough to catch it twice. The first time she fell for a texas rigged brush hog. The second time, two weeks later, she took an 8″ black lizard carolina rigged. I know it was the same fish because she was in the same spot and had an old wound on her side that I recognized. Catch and release sometimes pays off personally. 
She weighed 6lb 8oz the first time and 6lb 10oz the second time. I didn’t write down her measurements, but if I remember right she was 22″. I had my scale verified at the meat market.
