Any tips for finding bigger bass? I was out on 8/1, first time on the lake, we caught plenty of 12″-14″ fish. I was told that the docks are the place, but man there isn’t any depth any where near the docks.
you can get a ton of bass on forest up shallow, but as you found out there is nothing for size there. I have found good fish in the pads, but the bigger fish are out deeper this time of year, look on the outside weed edges in 10-15 ft of water, there are lots of good bass in the lake you will just need to find some outside weed edges with deep water adjecent.
