Tonka morning of 6/22

    Was out this morning on Tonka and searched for muskies early but saw nothing. fishing topwater and jerkbaits on the northeast end near Gale Island, and Brown’s Bay. Moved on to largemouth at about 8am. Fished tubes around docks and did well. Caught about 7, two or three real nice ones. Never really fished tubes that much till last fall for smallmouth, man are they fun…your line just starts swimming and you drop the shoulder and lay into them. good times!

    I’m hoping to get out early one day this weekend also. I’m not a bass guy, but it sure is fun having the largies blow up on a big top raider. Hopefull the ski’s show themselves.

    I might try Indy also, haven’t been there yet this summer.
