Last night I had the pleasure of Crappie fishing with John23 here at IDA. We fished on a nice little NE Metro lake. We were over about 18-20 FOW, and initially started just a 2-3ft off of the bottom with pink glow jigs tipped with a cute little crappie minnow who was about to be served as lunch We weren’t getting bit so we decided to move up and try to find suspended fish about 10ft down.
John, did catch the first fish, but overall I would say he got schooled by the girl who was ice fishing for her first time
I think it was painful for him to receive such a glaring defeat from a girl, but I think he took it pretty well. We turned on the tube and watched the Bachlorette and CSI Miami. The only thing that was missing was a bottle of HOT 100
