I fished it once this year. My son was with me so he got to take the flags. He landed a 27.5 and a 28.25 Pike. The bigger fish was 5.8 pounds. Not huge but he had a ball. The tipups that had fish were near the weedline in 7 to 10 feet.
We tagged some great gills too. No monsters but most fish were between 7.5 and 9.
Last year I looked for the second hump in the south part of the lake. I first drilled about 20 holes about where I thought the hump might be. I looked through the holes and found a large school of decent Crappies suspended 25 feet down over 40 feet. I was just north of the hump, didn’t continue to move to the hump because the Crappies were hungry.
