    OK Guys,

Let’s all get out on the ice next Saturday. I know that Demontreville has been suggested but I’m open to anywhere else. Frankly the panfishing on D isn’t very good, although there are some decent pike. It just might be fun to throw out some tip-ups and trade war stories. And somebody bring a camera

What say Briank, Suzuki, Putz, Nubbinbuck, Gary, anyone?

Nubbinbuck and I were planning to throw out some tip-ups this weekend anyway. Might as well do it up there. I’ll call him and see if that sounds like a plan.

I can’t make it out this weekend.

But I will be out both Saturday and Sunday the weekend of the 28th.

Now who’s going to bring the Lukefisk? I almost had him singing “Ode to Lut” on S Center yesterday….cleared the area out pretty good!

I’m in! I have to practice for PDC!

    Where/ when/ and I’ll be there!

I’d really like to get out there and meet some of you guys, but I’ll be heading up to Brainerd to freeze my tail off and donate some money to charity in the Jaycees ice fishing contest…who knows, maybe I’ll catch a perch small enough for 100th and win a few grand. Well, maybe not.

I’m open this weekend – however, should we push it back ?? I’ll be talking w/ Lenny tonight. If we want to try for ‘bigger fish’, there is another lake near the downtown area that might work.

I would be interested in getting out with you guys. What time on saturday are you thinking about. Tip-ups are my favorite, but I’m willing to chase just about anything.

PS…this weekend is the Braindard event and next weekend is PDC GTG.

It seems like there’s alway something going on… I would be in favor of having another on a month from now…(which I’m sure something will come up and I won’t be able to make )

PSS Thanks Rootski, for taking the lead here! Your a good man…I don’t care WHAT your wife says about you!

    Brian,

I think this is a great suggestion and leads me to an idea. I think we can assume that there will be something going on almost every weekend and that everyone can’t make a given weekend. It also occurs to me that we all know different waters and can learn a lot from each other. So…How about this?

Next Saturday, Demontreville. I’ll be there and will be glad to show you guys what I know about the lake. Then someone else picks a lake for next time, and so on. Eventually a lot of us will have a chance to meet each other and have a good time.

    How does that sound?

The Gator Professor and I decided to go south this weekend. Didn’t look like anyone could make it this weekend. Anyways, I work every other weekend, so in 2 weeks I’d be available..

Bummer, Nubbin. In two weeks I’m going to be tied up. My future son-in-law beat his cancer but he has a ton of medical bills and house payments to catch up on, so we’re holding a fund raiser for him. It’s going to be a Jersey’s Bar in Inver Grove Heights on the 29th. Maybe I can sneak out on the 30th but Saturday I’m going to be pretty busy. We’ll get out yet!

And I’ll wear my dress just for him…

Well, nice storm and all, and I am sitting on the puter now instead of fishin…

Perhaps a plan might be to all meet the last weekend of the fishing season (game fish) ?? I’ve been out there around that time, and some really nice bass are to be had (C/R only)….

It sounds like everybody spent the day moving snow. I’m the guy with the snowblower so I was out there for 5 straight hours. But the neighborhood looks good now! Gotta help the neighbors out, especially the older ones.

Hit the big ‘D’ today for a short trip. Snow is blowing pretty good out there. 2 pike in first 20 minutes, then nothing. I hate wind…
