I believe there was a post this summer about getting a few guys together come ice time. Will someone take charge of this? My net time is very limited now. I believe Suzuki and a couple of others indicated their interest. If someone does spearhead this effort, Suzuki has my phone number….

That thread started with me I think. As soon as we get walkable ice I’ll post something and try to get something put together. Man if we don’t get some ice around here very soon I’m going to lose it. Or maybe it’s time for a road trip

The channels on Forest have 5″+ on them right now, I was out on Friday. Bite was really slow. If you guys were still thinking about a small get together I would be interested,
Demontreville would be a nice change of pace…

Yesterday I was running an errand on the ne side of st paul with a friend, and decided to head over to Demontreville/Olson off of 694 for a look see. got around to the ramp on the nw side on Demont. did not go out onto the ice as I didn’t have the time. but it sure looked like a great place to head out to this June in the boat. rolling hills, decent looking shoreline and good size, not huge and not small. was happy I took the time to take a look. Jack.. 
I’d be happy to show you the lake next summer, Jack. It’s a real treasure, and with the catch-and-release in place for several years now the fishong is good.

Is the catch/release only for bass?
Anybody out on Sat? I went out and never had a flag. Was there some kind of tournament going on? There was about 20 vehicles on the north end. I set up on the side of them, and never saw a flag when I was there….. Horrible weekend for me.
