Left the wife to pass out candy and went walleye hunting instead. Was only out for 2 hours but got a 29″ and a couple of 18″. Trolling a 12 glass perch husky jerk in shallow. Missed a couple more. Always amazed how fish don’t get hooked up while I am constantly hooking everything when the lure is in the boat. Firetiger didn’t do anything and Raps produced no bites. The 29″ was football shaped. Had to go over 10lbs but I didn’t have a scale with me so we’ll never know for sure. All the fish really smacked the jerk hard so they have the feedbag on. I was trolling at 2.2mph -slower speeds produced no bites.

Glad to hear you got a few- I was out Friday evening and got blanked. I did have one new experience though- after hearing a LOUD thunderclap I was heading back to the dock. I almost made it before the rain started. Within seconds the rain ended and the hail started! I’ve never been hailed on before in my boat . . .

Any true musky nut will not only been hailed on and sleeted on but buried in a foot or two of snow! I actually had to start shoveling once. Been coated in ice twice. If it ain’t frozen over it’s fishable.
