Well does anyone have an idea of where to fish the walleyes on the Rum river say from Anoka up to Cambridge? Ton of huge smallies and northerns on the river but havent got any walleyes. Any help would be nice.

I have been meaning to give that streach of river a try but have not yet. A buddy of mine that has fished it says if you head up river from the fair grounds in anoka there are a few holes that the eyes hang out in. My first thought was trolling for them while searching for structure and current breaks.

Well now we might have a starting point. I’ll ask around and see if I find anything out I’ll pass it along to you all. Please do the same. I know north of the fairgrounds is alot of no wake stuff but thats about all I know.

A buddy lives near Lake George and knows guys that do real well fishing the deeper holes by rigging big chubs. Don’t know exact spots, but sounds like a lot of quality fish get caught.
