What a great weekend to be on the water. Temps, winds, and fishing have been super. Trolling #8 Flat raps in Fire Tiger and perch has been rock solid.
A good friend and I have been avoiding the bass crouds and hitting the water after 9pm. Friday night we found the eyes to be in very shallow water, 1-4 FOW. We boated around 10 fish with the biggest being my PB Metro eye, 28.50″. I have caught bigger but not on this lake.
Sunday night was more of the same. Boating around 10 fish and loosing as many as they were short biting our cranks.
I will surely be out on the water a couple times this week taking advantage of this short lived bite.
