I know there aren’t many of us west metro guys here, but I’m looking at setting up a night or two a month to get together for some fun. I’m thinking of hittin Independence, Minnetonka, Waconia and anything in between.

If I can get a few guys/gals interested, I’ll post date, time, lake. Those who can make it great. If not, see you at the next attempt.

    Who’s in???

It would strongly depend on the shift I’m workin, but I’d be game, although I don’t know how comfortable I’d feel cruising in the dark in a lake I don’t know, I’d feel better swapping some beverages, for a seat, or welcoming someone with knowledge of the lake in my boat.

Due to the lack of response, I’ll probably post a day/night here and just go with it. If people can show, great, if not I’ll just fish. Next week stinks for me personally, so I”m thinking the following Tuesday or Thursday.

anyone want to head out for a early morning of bass fishing on tonka, I can take you to a few spots that have produced some nice fish for me. still trying to learn a few techniques for bass fishing in the heavy milfoil other than top water. be willing to go out for a morning.

Waterfowler, I am interested in fishing some nights. Two more weeks and my sons return to college so I’ll even have room in my boat. I live on the west end of Tonka so usually fish there but I’ve wanted to hit Waconia and some other area lakes. Walleyes or crappies. I never fish for the dreaded green carp. I have been fishing the upper Mississippi from Clearwater to Elk River for smallies. I have been fishing from a canoe and drift downstream. Fun trip and lots of fish.
