    Lake Elmo seems like it is a hard lake to figure out. Has anybody had any luck ice fishing out there? and pointers on where to go?

    It’s a good pike lake. Suckers or shiners on tip ups usually produced good action. I don’t have any special spots out there, just usually around the cabbage patches is where we would fish. One other thing, you can set your bait 10′ down over 20’+ of water and get good action. That water is so clear the fish have good vision and I think a lot of them also suspend.

    I would like to give lake elmo a try for some fall fishing. Does anyone know what the surface temp is right now?
