Square lake ice fishing

    Yes, it is certainly ice-fishable if you have a MN park sticker or pay the daily $5.00 fee to enter the park. It used to be a great trout lake with it being stocked every spring and fall. With the stocking of the trout it produced some gigantic pike that were speared out of there. Seems as though the haydays are over with the stocking efforts now being put into Lake Elmo.

    I fished it at least once last three years and I saw less trout each year. There are a lot of pike and if you get lucky some gills. I quit expecting to catch trout here. .
