Quick report from 6/28
Our fishing league visited Lake Independence on Monday night. Water has dirtied up quite a bit, with only about 1 or 2 ft. visibility. Fished for bass, panfish, and pike. Seemed like none of these were jumping in the boat, but we did manage our limit of panfish, and several nice bass and pike. Bass all caught on black plastic worm, Texas-rigged, no weight, real tight to shore. Pike caught on firetiger spinnerbait, white head, single Colorado blade.
Shortly before 9:00 p.m., lost a nice legal Musky next to the boat. 
On very next cast, caught and landed a 41 in. Musky. 
Very thick fish and nice fight. Didn’t count for league, but still fun.
