Anybody know the ice conditions on these 2 smaller east metro lakes? I’m itching to drill a few holes this weekend..

Ham lake was frozen over the other day. That little lake between Martin and Linwood I bet would be froze over to. Dont have to go out very far there to get on fish.

The weather this week doesnt look real good for making additional ice. Be safe if you get out.

White Bear Lake is fishable and my buddies caught a limit of carppies over the weekend so I would think that centerville/peltier would be the same as white bear.

I was out on Centerville 12/23. 6 1/2″ of ice out near the middle. Small fish.

I drove by Peltier yesterday and it looks like swiss cheese from the dock to the middle of the lake, lots and lots of holes.

I drove by Peltier & Centerville lakes today on the snowmobile (I didn’t drive it on the ice) lots of folks on foot and a few flipovers. Anybody know the ice thickness now that we’ve had a few nights below zero?

I’ve been on Centerville a couple of times now and caught nothing but small small Sunfish and Crappies…is there a specific spot on the lake that holds larger fish? I’m catch & release only..

I usually skip Centerville for Bald Eagle…. but I have caught decent crappies off the point as you are leaving the boat launch it will be on the right hand side about 18 fow.

I plan on fishing WBL Fri, Sat, Sun
