Carl’s Lake – Scott County

    Looking for walleyes on carls. Have been doing really well with the crappies in 12FOW 2 hours before sunset on this lake. Have caught walleyes ice fishing on this lake but I’m having a hard time finding eyes in summer months. Anyone fish this lake with any luck on eyes?

    If I am not incorrect this Lake is used as a rearing pond for walleyes – They Net them out of there each spring – I’m sure that is why the #’s are lower in the summer month than in the winter months. Crazy busy lake in the winter. Seems like most years you could almost walk all the way across this small lake jumping from icehouse to icehouse
