    Looking for an Eye guide on Lake Waconia or anyone that wants to share infomation in exchange for Lower Pool 4 information. My sister and BIL just moved to this area and have been targeting just Pannies but I know this lake has great weed edges that produces nice eyes. I am planning on visiting my sisters for Fri/Sat/Sun. Please PM if anyone is interested in assisting the learning curve. Mike

    The bite window can be very short. Low light conditions. 30 minutes in the morning. 30 minutes in the evening…..On good days. Don’t expect 10 fish days….3 or less is the norm.

    Boat traffic will be incredible.

    Good luck and post up how you do.

    PS – I have never tried the open basin fishing but I intend to.

    Mike – PM sent. I have spent several hours trolling the basin two of the last three times out. All I can get is sheephead. There are piles of bait fish (perch, shiners, sunfish) but no Walleyes yet. Attached are two from this AM off of weedlines…
