Got out on lake gervais on sun between rain storms for a few hrs. With my 8 yr.old daughter. After abuot a couple hunderd casts i hooked up with my first bass off the deep edge throughing a sinko. I showed my daughter and she says ( oh my I beter start to fishing) she missed at least 3 and then reels in a 13 in bass on a green and white split tail beaver in about 20 to 25 casts. (I should bring her along on tournament day)
I only got one more befoe lighting drove us off the lake,a nice 15 in under a dock. When she learns to skip docks she will probley out fish the old man, i cant wait for that happen
