has anybody heard of any hot pike bites coming from the east metro? Looking to get out on big carnelian, elmo, square, or any other lake that might have a decent bite going

There was a HOT bite going at DuShanes on the Vermillion River for about the last month! Cooled off considerably the last 2 weeks. Everybody down there was walking off with their limits! Have not heard of anywhere else though.

Haven’t herd much about pike as of late. But I know I have caught some fish in the shallow weed edges on tip ups of White Bear. Im assuming apply this to any lake above.

I know eyes are hot as well at the panfish. Panfish have been anywhere from 8-12 feet in the weeds. Eyes have been hitting in 15-20 feet just off the breaks the panfish are holding in. Usually the eyes are hitting at dusk or later.

From my experience in open water, I would say Pike size is poor.
