Medicine lake

    I will be on Medicine Lake in plymouth on saturady for the fishing for life youth event. Never fished it before, any tips on where to go and what to use. The kids don’t care what they fish for. Thanks

    Hey nitrodog10,

    I’m kinda in the same predicament as you, I’ve never fished the lake before either. Although I don’t have a boat and am just signed up as a helper, not sure what they will have me doing but that doesn’t matter as long as the kids have a great time!

    Depending on what you are looking for there are a couple of good places on Medicine. For bass the docks on the peninsula on the south side of the lake with senkos will produce, the arm that goes north of the launch is usually good for pannies, the south bays (on either side of the peninsula) hold fish.
