Can anyone fill us in on the truck going through. I heard that the people got out and they were attempting to pull it out with chains before it went all the way under and the chains broke and turned the truck into a SUB? I don’t know if this is correct just repeating what I heard. Anyone in the Know? Steve
Yes it is true, they went across an ice heave in front of the View on the big lake, To sum it up in one word D U M B. There is alot of current right there and even in the coldest winters it would be foolish to do what they tried. 
It was actually between Water’s Edge and Larsons Landing where the truck went through, nowhere near the View.
