A total of 348 walleyes weighing 265 pounds, 12 ounces were caught Thursday, including 48 five-fish limits.
If there was 15 overs that would be %4.3 of fish registered were over the slot. 20 overs would be %5.7
A total of 337 walleyes weighing 266 pounds, 10 ounces were caught Friday, including 47 five-fish limits. If there was 15 overs %4.5 were overs. 20 overs would be almost %6
I beleive I seen three overs at the final weigh in saturday
and about 35-40 unders, which would be %8.6 and %7.5 respectively.
Now the avg weight for thursday and friday combined
685 walleyes weighing 532 lbs and 6 Oz puts the average walleye at just under 12.5 ozs
This being said there was prolly a greater number of unders caught during the tournament that were released. Wherein almost all overs were kept. This would only lower the percent of overs, not raise. Realistically the percents are probably closer to %3-5. So if i wanna catch an over and luck is not on my side I may have to sift thru 20-33 unders.
This does not take into account any slot fish being there was no fish kept or weighed, and anglers werent polled on how many slot fish released. This woulda been a good way to get a guess at the year classes on wissota without missing information.
