We are getting down to the last week of hard water eyes. I know, most of you river rats are thinking walleye season is just starting. Anyway, the walleyes are making the transition to their spawning areas and your chance at a Wissota wallmounter could not be better. There is more then enough ice to get into those holes that should not be traveled early season. Get up in the Yellow River or the Chip and find the key points were these hogs could be staging. Flags can pop all day long right now. Keep a focus on shallow 5-10fow and if you got weeds your golden.
