    …on finishing the Kortelopet yesterday.

The “Kortie” was my entry into the ski marathon scene about 10 years ago. After that great Hayward experience, I ended up skiing for a number of winters, and competing in marathons from Mora MN to Lienz, Austria. Pool 4 walleyes get most of my wintertime attention these days, but marathons still have a special place in my heart.

Great job guys! Tell us a story or two once you recover.

Thanks guys! We had a blast. It’s the start of a yearly tradition.

My goal this year was to just complete it and take it all in. That included many breaks to enjoy the scenery.

I have a goal two years out to complete the Birkie.

I got this sent to me today.

It’s pretty safe to say it’s a lot of work for guy like me that doesn’t skip a meal to do this sort of thing.

Great job Sully! I could never get into cross country.I loved the downhill skiing rush, which was alot closer resemblance to hockey I played in years past.I learned 1 thing trying to cross country. Man who runs with loose sticks on feet eventually falls flat on face! Quite an accomplishment just finishing without noteable injury I might add. Later, WHITE TIP
