A short crank-pulling trip with my daughter Caroline and Grandpa Tim on Saturday evening put some dandies in the boat, including a 21+ and a handful of high-end slot fish. The green seems to have settled down, and there is not too much floating debris on the main lake, making for pleasant crank-pulling conditions. Temps creeping back up into the upper 70s, will flirt with 80 by the end of the week after a prolonged hot, sunny, and dry stretch. The fish don’t seem to mind, however, so get out there and give it a whirl!
