2K’s and I decided to poke around on water that we don’t normally place the boat over this morning.
Like many experimental trips it didn’t produce for us like “roads more traveled”, but we got a lesson on the lay of the land for future reference.
We hopped in the boat at 4:45 and asked each other, “Did you bring bait?” We both had the same answer of no. So, we casted cranks and pitched Gulp.
My second cast of the morning put a bend on the rod. We found a stray cat hungry for a Gulp crawler.
