Real quick update.
Week one top honors goes to Shane McLauglin with over 60 points! 
Shane found a good pod of walleye and I believe he said the smallest fish he scored was 17″.
Shane also captured the first big fish pot with a 20″ walleye.
Congrats Shane!
A close second was Eric Palacek with 58 points. Eric scored in 4 fish categories.
Honorable mentions goes to Eric’s captain, 2K’s for the superb boat control to keep him over those fish.

My experience was consistent with others in that the walleyes are very shallow still. A few gents mentioned some milting males. I found water temps from 44 to 55 degrees.
We also noticed many of the walleyes have small black spots.
It was a trial run with my new camera. I apologize for the blurred photo. This was the big fish to our boat for the night. A 17.5″ chunky walleye.
