Mermaid Island Flag

    Is the US flag still on mermaid island? Seeing 1/4 the flag floating in the water bothers me a lot. Does this bother anyone else?

    Should be fixed asap. Don’t need the ESPN cameras showing that in the background. Lets fix it!

    I have a feeling someone has fixed it already, but if it hasn’t I will fix it. It may upset who ever put it out there, but maybe they could read the code of ethics for the flag.

    I understand they were marking the island so people don’t run into. I have a better idea…let a Packers flag mark the spot.

    Yeah when I lived on the lake we walked out there during ice season and set it back up. It should be fixed.

    A new flag was put up.

    If you want to take flag etiquette to the next level, it should be illuminated at night.

    I think I ment not put at halfmast. I dont remember where I even heard that haha.
